The DOF Reality Lift Supports for 6DOF (L) are gas-strut assists that take the weight and the wrestling out of your largest six-axis motion platform — making the heavy frame easier to move, steadier in operation, and far simpler to build.

What it does

A full 6DOF platform carries serious mass across six independent axes, and all that hardware can be a handful to assemble, position, and handle on your own. These lift supports use gas struts to do the heavy lifting for you.

• Assist heavier movement — the struts help carry and balance the load of the six-axis frame so the platform moves more smoothly.
• Add stability — they steady the larger frame, reducing strain on the structure and on you during setup and operation.
• Ease assembly and handling — lifting, aligning, and securing the big components becomes a noticeably more manageable, often one-person job.

Fits / compatibility

This is a 6DOF-specific upgrade. The Lift Supports for 6DOF (L) are intended for the largest DOF Reality six-axis (6DOF) platforms — the heaviest frames in the lineup, where the extra mass benefits most from gas-strut assistance during assembly and use. They are not required for the smaller 2DOF or 3DOF rigs, which are far lighter to handle on their own. If you run a full 6DOF setup and want easier handling plus a more stable frame, this is the part to add.
