Parts made for the DOF Reality line. Tick what you want and it ships on the same order. Hover a part to see what it does.
The part you sit in. It bolts to the seat rails on the frame, and on most rigs the position slides back and forth to suit your height.

Holds the screen at racing distance. A cockpit-mounted arm bolts to the rig so the screen and the seat move together. A freestanding stand sits on the floor by itself and carries heavier or triple-screen setups.

The controls themselves. The wheelbase bolts to the deck at the front of the rig, the pedals to the pedal plate down below.

Physical feedback. Shakers bolt to the seat or the frame and vibrate with the road surface, the kerbs and the engine, so you feel the car as well as see it.

The top of the Hero line: a full six-axis platform — pitch, roll, yaw, heave, surge and sway — with the extra-smooth SFU gearbox tuned for the slow, deliberate motion of rotary-wing flight. The whole cockpit moves as one, and you feel every hover correction in your seat.
The H6r is DOF Reality's flagship Hero platform, built for pilots who want the full picture of motion under them. All six axes move together — the seat, the collective, the cyclic and the pedals ride as a single body — so what you feel matches what the airframe is doing, not just an approximation of it.
For helicopter work, that completeness matters. A hover is never truly still: the aircraft drifts, settles, and fights torque, and the H6r's "r"-spec SFU gearbox is the reason those tiny, continuous movements come through clean instead of notchy. Heave lets the floor drop out from under you in a hard descent, surge and sway translate translational lift and pedal-turn slip, and yaw answers the tail rotor directly. It is the difference between watching the instruments tell you you're sliding and feeling it in your gut.
At $7,599 it is a serious piece of equipment, and it is meant to be the last platform you buy. Six axes, commercial-grade steel, and a 375 lb capacity put it at the ceiling of the Hero range — there is no half-step left on the table.
Not included (buy separately): a seat, your collective, cyclic and anti-torque pedals, and a VR headset (optional).

This is a full-platform rig: the seat and all your controls move together, so your hands and feet stay locked to the cockpit exactly as they would in the real thing.
The H6r is for the committed helicopter and flight-sim pilot who wants every axis of motion and refuses to compromise on smoothness — the kind of person logging serious hours in DCS rotary-wing modules or flying precision approaches in X-Plane and MSFS.
For most pilots chasing immersion over raw aggression, the H6r is the sweet spot: maxed-out axes, refined motion.
The H6r reads live telemetry from the major flight and helicopter titles and translates it into platform motion:
PC (Windows) is fully supported across all of these titles and is the recommended setup for serious rotary-wing flying. Console (PlayStation/Xbox) works for the select games that send telemetry over the network, and the MagicBox adapter bridges motion for others. VR is supported through OpenVR Motion Compensation, so the headset stays locked to the cockpit while the platform moves — verified with the Valve Index, Quest and Quest 2, Reverb G2, Vive, Pimax and more.
Pairs naturally with helicopter-specific controls — a collective, cyclic and anti-torque pedals all mount to the moving frame. Check our DOF support page for the current list of supported titles and setups.

This is the top of the Hero line: full six axes, already maxed out. Every DOF Reality platform is modular — see how the upgrade paths work on our Options & Upgrades page.
Your rig is built to order and ships insured from our European manufacturing partner, door to door with tracking. The current lead time is in the Shipping and Returns tab. It arrives disassembled in two boxes (commercial-grade steel, so it is heavy by design = rigid and durable) and bolts together with the included tools; then you install SimRacingStudio and connect by USB. Any import duties, taxes, or customs charges set by your country are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in the product or shipping price — in line with the manufacturer’s policy. Full details on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Every platform includes a full 1-year manufacturer warranty, with an optional Extended +1 Year. As an authorized DOF Reality dealer based in the USA, we back every order with free pre-sale consultation and hands-on setup help — and you can split the cost with Shop Pay, Affirm, or Klarna at checkout. Questions before you buy? Talk to us or call (952) 649-5710. See Warranty & Support.
The "r" denotes the extra-smooth SFU gearbox, tuned specifically for the slow, precise movements that flight and helicopter sims demand. In a hover or a gentle approach the aircraft is making constant tiny corrections, and that gearbox lets those micro-movements come through fluid instead of stepped. For rotary-wing flying it is exactly the right tuning.
They all earn their keep. Pitch and roll cover cyclic input and bank, yaw answers the tail rotor and pedal turns, heave gives you the floor-dropping sensation of a descent or settling-with-power, and surge and sway carry translational lift and slip. Helicopters move in every direction at once, so a full six-axis platform like the H6r matches that better than a two- or three-axis rig.
The whole platform. The seat and all your controls — collective, cyclic, pedals — are mounted to the frame and move as one body. Your hands and feet stay in their correct relationship to the seat at all times, which is what makes the motion feel like flying rather than like being shaken.
It is the top of the Hero line — full six axes, already maxed out, so there is no further upgrade within the Hero family. If you want more speed and strength, the step beyond is the Pro-tier P6e, which moves roughly 50% faster and is built commercial-grade, trading some of the Hero line's smoothness for more raw motion authority.
The H6r is built on commercial-grade steel with a 375 lb / 170 kg user capacity, so it comfortably carries a full cockpit setup plus the pilot. Plan for a footprint of roughly 4 x 5 ft and about 2 ft of height for the platform itself.
This platform is built to order and ships insured from our European manufacturing partner. Shipping shown at checkout reflects the actual factory-to-door freight for your items, with no markup.
This order crosses a border to reach you. Depending on your country, the carrier may bill import processing fees separately at delivery. They are never charged at checkout and there are no hidden charges from us. Contact us for a landed-cost estimate for your address before you order.
DOF Reality platforms are built to order and are not eligible for change-of-mind returns once your order is placed with the factory.
