Every DOF Reality motion platform we sell is backed by a real warranty and by a US-based team that actually knows these rigs. We only recommend what we'd run ourselves, and we stand behind it after the sale, not just up to checkout. Here's exactly what's covered and how to reach us.

The 1-Year DOF Reality Manufacturer Warranty

Every Hero and Pro platform (and the Mover seat movers) ships with a full 1-year manufacturer warranty from DOF Reality, included at no extra cost. It covers defects in the parts that make the rig move and run, including:

  • The drive motors and gearboxes
  • The 100-240V control unit and power electronics
  • The rigid steel frame, mounts, and structural hardware
  • Wiring, connectors, and the USB controller interface

If a covered component fails under normal use within the warranty period, DOF Reality repairs or replaces it. Your included SimRacingStudio software license stays active, and we'll help you get any replacement part installed and re-calibrated so you're back to driving fast.

Optional Extended +1 Year Warranty

Want more runway? An Extended +1 Year warranty is available, taking your total coverage to two years on the same DOF Reality components. It's a smart add for anyone putting serious hours on the rig or running it in a shared, training, or commercial setting where uptime matters. Ask us before you buy and we'll tell you honestly whether it makes sense for how you plan to use your platform.

Third-Party Items We Resell

A motion rig is rarely just the platform. Many of the extras in our Options & Upgrades catalog are made by other top brands, and those items carry their own manufacturer warranties rather than DOF Reality's. That includes seats like the Sparco R100, R333, and Sprint, and immersion gear such as the SRS UShake transducer and Hurricane wind package. The coverage is still solid, it just comes from the maker of that specific product. If anything ever goes wrong with a third-party item, contact us anyway: we'll point you to the right warranty channel and help you sort it out.

What If Something Arrives Damaged?

It's rare, but freight happens. Your platform ships factory-direct, fully insured, with door-to-door tracking via FedEx or DHL Express, and arrives disassembled in two sturdy boxes. If a box looks damaged on delivery, take photos before and during unboxing, then contact us right away at support@simdriveperformance.com or (952) 649-5710. Because every shipment is insured, we'll work with you and the carrier to file the claim and get the affected parts repaired or replaced quickly. The sooner you flag it, the faster we resolve it, so reach out the same day if you can.
