VRX iMotion racing simulator

Four corners of motion.

An open-sided aluminum chassis with a motion actuator at each corner, direct-drive steering, real pedals and the displays you choose. Built to order by VRX in British Columbia since 1999. SimDrive configures it with VRX, delivers with duties paid, and stays your point of contact.

  • Heave, pitch and roll from four D-BOX actuators
  • Direct-drive steering and load-cell pedals
  • Quote only: every price is confirmed in writing

Estimated price. Estimated from about $58,000 for a typical configuration (direct-drive base, pedals and wheel). This is an estimate, not an official quote. Final price, what is included, delivery and lead time are confirmed in your official quote. Request your official quote.

The motion system

Motion at every corner.

Four D-BOX actuators move the whole simulator with the driver, not just the seat. The stroke is chosen for the driving you do.

  1. Heave all four corners

All four actuators rise and fall together. Curbs, bumps and the weight change over a crest.

Close-up of a motion actuator in a green housing on the iMotion base next to the seat frame.
  2. Pitch front against rear

The front and rear move against each other. Braking, acceleration and the nose dive into a corner.

Side view of the iMotion: black Sparco bucket seat, steering column, pedal frame and steel base.
  3. Roll left against right

The left and right sides move against each other. The lean through a corner and over the kerb.
