The DOF Reality H6r is the most complete platform DOF Reality builds in its Hero series: full six-axis motion where your seat, wheel, pedals, stick and throttle all move together as one solid platform. You don't watch the world tilt on a screen — you feel your whole rig load up through a corner, drop into turbulence, and settle as the helicopter comes into a hover.

What makes the "r" variant special is the SFU gearbox. It's tuned for slow, precise, low-creep movement, which is exactly what flight and helicopter sims demand — the gentle bank of a long approach, the fine cyclic inputs that keep a hover steady. That same refinement carries straight into racing, so one machine handles all three disciplines without compromise.

How it moves

This is a full-platform rig: the seat and all your controls move together, so your hands and feet stay locked to the cockpit exactly as they would in the real thing.

• Pitch — tilts you forward and back so you feel acceleration and braking.
• Roll — tilts side to side so you feel the lean of every corner.
• Yaw — rotates the platform to reproduce rear traction loss — oversteer, drift and coordinated turns.
• Heave — drives the whole platform vertically for curbs, kerbs, bumps and (in the air) runway texture and turbulence.
• Surge — slides you forward and back under hard acceleration and braking.
• Sway — slides you left and right through fast direction changes.

• Step up: If you want roughly 50% more speed and strength with commercial-grade build, the P6e ($9,999) in the Pro line is the next tier — the H6r is already the top of the Hero range, so there's nothing above it within Hero itself.

The H6r is built to switch freely between all three sim worlds — that's the whole point of the Universal setup.

• Flight: Microsoft Flight Simulator, DCS World and X-Plane.

Platforms: PC (Windows) is fully supported across every title. Console (PlayStation/Xbox) works for the select games that send telemetry over the network, and the MagicBox adapter bridges motion for others. VR is supported through OpenVR Motion Compensation, including Valve Index, Quest and Quest 2, Reverb G2, Vive, Pimax and more — so the platform moves with you instead of fighting your headset.

Shipping & delivery

Your rig is built to order and ships insured from our European manufacturing partner, door to door with tracking. The current lead time is in the Shipping and Returns tab. It arrives disassembled in two boxes (commercial-grade steel, so it is heavy by design = rigid and durable) and bolts together with the included tools; then you install SimRacingStudio and connect by USB. Any import duties, taxes, or customs charges set by your country are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in the product or shipping price — in line with the manufacturer’s policy. Do all six axes move my whole setup?

They do. The H6r is a full-platform design, so your seat, wheel, pedals and flight controls all move together as one. Pitch, Roll, Yaw, Heave, Surge and Sway combine into motion you feel through the entire rig, not just the seat.

Is the H6r the top of the Hero line?

It is. The H6r maxes out the Hero series with all six axes and the smooth SFU gearbox — there's nothing above it within Hero. If you want more raw speed and strength, that's the Pro line (the P6e), which is a different, faster, commercial-grade tier.

Does it work in VR?

Yes. The H6r supports VR through OpenVR Motion Compensation, so the headset image stays locked to your point of view while the platform moves underneath you. Valve Index, Quest and Quest 2, Reverb G2, Vive and Pimax are all supported, among others.
