Parts made for the DOF Reality line. Tick what you want and it ships on the same order. Hover a part to see what it does.

Seats

The part you sit in. It bolts to the seat rails on the frame, and on most rigs the position slides back and forth to suit your height.

  • A one-piece racing seat that bolts to the rig frame where the driver sits.

    $469.00In stock

  • A racing seat with side adjustment levers and openings for five- or six-point belts.

    $549.00In stock

  • A racing seat shaped for tighter cockpits that can bolt from underneath or at the sides.

    $596.00In stock

Monitors

Holds the screen at racing distance. A cockpit-mounted arm bolts to the rig so the screen and the seat move together. A freestanding stand sits on the floor by itself and carries heavier or triple-screen setups.

  • Holds a VESA monitor on the rig so the screen moves with you instead of staying still.

    $120.00In stock

Wheels and pedals

The controls themselves. The wheelbase bolts to the deck at the front of the rig, the pedals to the pedal plate down below.

  • A plate that lets you unclip the pedals from the rig without tools when you need the space.

    $100.00In stock

Motion and haptics

Physical feedback. Shakers bolt to the seat or the frame and vibrate with the road surface, the kerbs and the engine, so you feel the car as well as see it.

  • A bracket that holds a bass shaker on the rig so you feel rumble through the frame.

    $25.00In stock

  • A box that takes motion data from PlayStation or Xbox games so the platform moves with them.

    $199.00In stock

  • Fans set in front of the seat that blow harder as your speed rises in the game.

    $359.00In stock

  • Shakers that fix to the seat and vibrate in time with the game so you feel the surface.

    $429.00In stock

  • DOF Reality Motion Upgrade Kit (Add Axes to Your Existing Rig)

    $1,073.00In stockChoose options

Flight

Mounts for a flight stick, a throttle and rudder pedals, if you fly as well as drive.

  • Mounts a flight stick and throttle to the moving platform, at the center or off to one side.

    $120.00In stock

Extras

The things you notice later: casters so it rolls out of the way, a mat to protect the floor, covers, longer cables.

  • Longer motor and control cables so a two-axis rig can sit further from its control box.

    $30.00In stock

  • Casters that bolt under the platform so you can roll the rig aside instead of lifting it.

    $40.00In stock

  • A button you hit to cut the platform's motion instantly if something goes wrong.

    $50.00In stock

  • A fabric cover you drape over the rig to keep dust off it between sessions.

    About this product

Two axes of full-platform motion — pitch and roll — with the extra-smooth SFU gearbox tuned for the slow, deliberate hover work helicopter pilots live in. Your whole rig leans into the cyclic, not just your seat.

The DOF Reality H2r is a 2-axis Hero platform built specifically for the way a helicopter actually moves. Where most motion rigs chase fast, jerky cues, the "r" variant runs a smooth SFU gearbox that's tuned for the slow, precise inputs of a hover, a pedal-turn, or a careful approach to a confined LZ. Pitch and roll move the entire platform — seat, collective, cyclic and pedals together — so the aircraft tilts under you the way the real one does.

For DCS World rotorheads in the Apache, Black Shark, Huey or Gazelle, that smoothness is the whole point. You feel the nose dip as you push the cyclic forward, the deck roll into a pedal-turn, and the subtle wallow of holding a hover in gusty air — the exact cues that tell your hands what to do before your eyes catch up. It turns wrestling a helicopter into something you feel through the airframe instead of just reading off the gauges.

At $2,699, the H2r is the most direct way into commercial-grade, full-platform motion for flight and helicopter sims. It's the rig we'd point a serious rotary pilot to first — and it leaves the door open to grow later.

    How it moves

This is a full-platform rig: the seat and all your controls move together, so your hands and feet stay locked to the cockpit exactly as they would in the real thing.

    • Pitch — tilts you forward and back so you feel acceleration and braking.
    • Roll — tilts side to side so you feel the lean of every corner.

    Who it’s for

Best for helicopter and flight pilots who want the two motion cues that matter most in rotary flight — pitch and roll — delivered through a buttery-smooth gearbox rather than a fast, gamey one. If you spend your time in DCS helicopters, MSFS 2024/2020, or X-Plane rotorcraft and want to feel the hover instead of fighting it, this is your platform.

    • Step down: If you want a taste of motion at a lower entry point, the M2 seat-mover ($1,499) tilts just the seat rather than the whole platform — less immersive for the fine hover work, but easier on the budget.
    • Step up: Want yaw to feel pedal-turns and tail-rotor authority directly? Add it later by upgrading to the H3 (from $1,073), or jump straight to the six-axis H6 for the most complete rotary experience the Hero line offers.

    Games, platforms & compatibility

The H2r reads live telemetry from the sims rotary pilots care about:

    • DCS World helicopters — Apache, Black Shark, Huey, Gazelle and more
    • Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 & 2020
    • X-Plane 10, 11 and 12 helicopters

PC (Windows) is fully supported across every title above. Console (PlayStation/Xbox) works for the select games that send telemetry over the network, and the MagicBox adapter bridges motion for others. VR is fully supported through OpenVR Motion Compensation, so the cockpit stays locked to your view while the platform moves under you — Valve Index, Quest/Quest 2, Reverb G2, Vive, Pimax and more.

For the full list of supported titles and how motion data is handled per game, see our DOF support page.

    Complete your rig

    • Flight controls: HOTAS Mounts Kit and Honeycomb A+B adapter to bolt your stick, throttle and yoke straight to the moving cockpit
    • Seats & harnesses — DOF Reality seat, Sparco R100/R333/Sprint, 4-point harness
    • Immersion: SRS UShake 6 tactile cushion, SRS Hurricane wind package, Buttkicker mount
    • Practicality: monitor mount, floor mat with DOF shield, protective covers, transport wheels, cable extensions
    • Console: the MagicBox adapter bridges motion for PlayStation and Xbox titles that don’t send telemetry natively

    Future-proof: upgrade later

Start at two axes and add yaw later: upgrade to H3 from $1,073, or step up to the six-axis H6. Every DOF Reality platform is modular — see how the upgrade paths work on our Options & Upgrades page.

    Shipping & delivery

Your rig is built to order and ships insured from our European manufacturing partner, door to door with tracking. The current lead time is in the Shipping and Returns tab. It arrives disassembled in two boxes (commercial-grade steel, so it is heavy by design = rigid and durable) and bolts together with the included tools; then you install SimRacingStudio and connect by USB. Any import duties, taxes, or customs charges set by your country are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in the product or shipping price — in line with the manufacturer’s policy. Full details on our Shipping & Delivery page.

    Warranty, support & financing

Every platform includes a full 1-year manufacturer warranty, with an optional Extended +1 Year. As an authorized DOF Reality dealer based in the USA, we back every order with free pre-sale consultation and hands-on setup help — and you can split the cost with Shop Pay, Affirm, or Klarna at checkout. Frequently asked questions

Why the "r" variant for helicopter sims?

The H2r uses an extra-smooth SFU gearbox tuned for the slow, precise movements that define rotary flight. Helicopter work is all about fine, deliberate cues — holding a hover, easing into a pedal-turn, settling onto a confined LZ — and the smooth gearbox delivers those without the abruptness you'd want for, say, a rally car. It's the right tool for pilots who fly with their hands and feel.

What does 2-axis motion actually give me in a helicopter?

You get pitch and roll on the full platform, which covers the two cues your body relies on most in rotary flight: the nose dipping and rising as you work the cyclic fore and aft, and the deck rolling as you bank or hold against a crosswind. Because the entire rig moves — seat, collective, cyclic and pedals as one — the aircraft tilts under you instead of just shifting your chair.

Can I add yaw later for pedal-turns?

Yes. The H2r is designed to grow with you. You can upgrade to the three-axis H3 from $1,073 to add yaw and feel pedal-turns and tail-rotor authority directly, or step up to the six-axis H6 for the most complete rotary motion in the Hero line.

Will it handle my rig and me?

The H2r is built from commercial-grade steel and supports a max user weight of 330 lb / 150 kg, with a footprint of 2 x 5 ft and about 2 ft of height (100 x 150 cm). It's a stable, serious platform meant to move a fully loaded cockpit — controls and all — not just a seat.

    Does it work in VR?

Yes. VR is fully supported via OpenVR Motion Compensation, which keeps your virtual cockpit anchored to your head while the platform moves beneath you — essential for helicopters, where you're constantly scanning outside during a hover. It works with Valve Index, Quest/Quest 2, Reverb G2, Vive, Pimax and more.
