Parts made for the DOF Reality line. Tick what you want and it ships on the same order. Hover a part to see what it does.

Seats

The part you sit in. It bolts to the seat rails on the frame, and on most rigs the position slides back and forth to suit your height.

  • A one-piece racing seat that bolts to the rig frame where the driver sits.

    $469.00In stock

  • A racing seat with side adjustment levers and openings for five- or six-point belts.

    $549.00In stock

  • A racing seat shaped for tighter cockpits that can bolt from underneath or at the sides.

    $596.00In stock

Monitors

Holds the screen at racing distance. A cockpit-mounted arm bolts to the rig so the screen and the seat move together. A freestanding stand sits on the floor by itself and carries heavier or triple-screen setups.

  • Holds a VESA monitor on the rig so the screen moves with you instead of staying still.

    $120.00In stock

Wheels and pedals

The controls themselves. The wheelbase bolts to the deck at the front of the rig, the pedals to the pedal plate down below.

  • A plate that lets you unclip the pedals from the rig without tools when you need the space.

    $100.00In stock

Motion and haptics

Physical feedback. Shakers bolt to the seat or the frame and vibrate with the road surface, the kerbs and the engine, so you feel the car as well as see it.

  • A bracket that holds a bass shaker on the rig so you feel rumble through the frame.

    $25.00In stock

  • A box that takes motion data from PlayStation or Xbox games so the platform moves with them.

    $199.00In stock

  • Fans set in front of the seat that blow harder as your speed rises in the game.

    $359.00In stock

  • Shakers that fix to the seat and vibrate in time with the game so you feel the surface.

    $429.00In stock

  • DOF Reality Motion Upgrade Kit (Add Axes to Your Existing Rig)

    $1,073.00In stockChoose options

Flight

Mounts for a flight stick, a throttle and rudder pedals, if you fly as well as drive.

  • Mounts a flight stick and throttle to the moving platform, at the center or off to one side.

    $120.00In stock

Extras

The things you notice later: casters so it rolls out of the way, a mat to protect the floor, covers, longer cables.

  • Longer motor and control cables so a two-axis rig can sit further from its control box.

    $30.00In stock

  • Casters that bolt under the platform so you can roll the rig aside instead of lifting it.

    $40.00In stock

  • A button you hit to cut the platform's motion instantly if something goes wrong.

    $50.00In stock

  • A fabric cover you drape over the rig to keep dust off it between sessions.

    $50.00In stock

  • Metal panels that enclose the moving frame of a two or three axis platform.

    About this product

Two axes of full-platform motion — pitch and roll — on the Hero chassis with the extra-smooth SFU gearbox. Your whole cockpit tips into corners, banks through turns and noses over hills, with motion silky enough for flight and helicopter sims yet sharp enough for racing.

The DOF Reality H2r is a 2-axis Hero platform that moves your entire rig — seat, wheel or stick, pedals and all — as one rigid unit. Because everything travels together, your hands and feet stay locked in their natural position relative to the cockpit while the world pitches and rolls around you. That is the difference between watching motion and feeling it.

The "r" in H2r is the headline. This variant runs DOF Reality's smooth SFU gearbox, tuned for the slow, deliberate, precise movements that flight and helicopter sims demand. Where a standard Hero is built for quick racing transitions, the H2r adds the refinement to hover a helo, ride a thermal, or roll a fighter onto its side without the motion calling attention to itself — then still deliver the lean and weight transfer you want on a road course.

One rig, three disciplines. At $2,699 the H2r is the do-everything 2-axis platform for the simmer who races on Monday, flies on Wednesday and runs a helicopter mission on Friday — and wants all three to feel right.

    How it moves

This is a full-platform rig: the seat and all your controls move together, so your hands and feet stay locked to the cockpit exactly as they would in the real thing.

    • Pitch — tilts you forward and back so you feel acceleration and braking.
    • Roll — tilts side to side so you feel the lean of every corner.

    Who it’s for

The H2r is built for the multi-discipline simmer — the person who genuinely splits time between racing, flight and helicopter titles and refuses to compromise any of them. The smooth gearbox earns its keep the moment you load a flight or rotary sim, and it never holds you back on track.

    • Step down: If you only race and want the snappiest, most affordable full-platform motion, the standard H2 at $2,499 (or the seat-mover M2 at $1,499 if you want to feel motion on a tighter budget) is the smarter buy — you would be paying the SFU premium for smoothness you would not lean on.
    • Step up: If yaw matters to you — the sensation of the rig rotating, of trail-braking rotation or a helicopter's pedal-driven heading change — move to the 3-axis H3 ($2,999), or go all-in on the six-axis H6 ($6,999) for the most complete immersion the Hero line offers.

And you do not have to decide everything today: start here at two axes and add yaw later with the H3 upgrade from $1,073, or step up to the H6 when you are ready.

    Games, platforms & compatibility

The H2r is a true universal platform — one rig that switches between racing, flight and helicopter sims without you swapping hardware. On track it reads telemetry from iRacing, Assetto Corsa, F1, Gran Turismo, Forza and BeamNG; in the air it works with Microsoft Flight Simulator, DCS World and X-Plane; and it carries straight over to helicopter sims for hovers, autorotations and nap-of-the-earth flying.

    • PC (Windows): Fully supported across every title above — this is where the H2r is at its best.
    • Console (PlayStation/Xbox): Works for the select games that send telemetry over the network, and the MagicBox adapter bridges motion for others.
    • VR: Supported via OpenVR Motion Compensation, so the cockpit moves with you and your headset view stays locked — Valve Index, Quest and Quest 2, Reverb G2, Vive, Pimax and more.

The H2r mounts under universal cockpit frames and works with the major wheel, pedal, stick and collective setups. If you want us to confirm your exact controls, mounts and titles before you buy, see our DOF support page — we only recommend what we would run ourselves.

    Complete your rig

    • Controls: MOZA direct-drive wheel/pedal bundles for racing, or the HOTAS Mounts Kit & Honeycomb adapter for flight & heli

    Future-proof: upgrade later

Start at two axes and add yaw later: upgrade to H3 from $1,073, or step up to the six-axis H6. Every DOF Reality platform is modular — see how the upgrade paths work on our Options & Upgrades page.

    Shipping & delivery

Your rig is built to order and ships insured from our European manufacturing partner, door to door with tracking. The current lead time is in the Shipping and Returns tab. It arrives disassembled in two boxes (commercial-grade steel, so it is heavy by design = rigid and durable) and bolts together with the included tools; then you install SimRacingStudio and connect by USB. Any import duties, taxes, or customs charges set by your country are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in the product or shipping price — in line with the manufacturer’s policy. Full details on our Shipping & Delivery page.

    Warranty, support & financing

Every platform includes a full 1-year manufacturer warranty, with an optional Extended +1 Year. As an authorized DOF Reality dealer based in the USA, we back every order with free pre-sale consultation and hands-on setup help — and you can split the cost with Shop Pay, Affirm, or Klarna at checkout. Frequently asked questions

What does the "r" in H2r actually change?

The H2r uses DOF Reality's smooth SFU gearbox, tuned for slow, precise movements. It is the variant we point flight and helicopter simmers toward because hovers, banks and gentle weight shifts come through cleanly. The standard H2 shares the same 2-axis pitch-and-roll motion but is geared for quick racing transitions instead — so the H2r is the one to pick if you fly as much as you race.

Will two axes be enough for racing and flying both?

For most people, yes. Pitch and roll cover the sensations that matter most — braking and acceleration weight transfer, cornering lean, banking and pitching in the air. Two axes is the sweet spot of immersion versus cost. If you specifically want the rig to rotate (yaw), that is where stepping up to the 3-axis H3 or six-axis H6 comes in.

Does the whole rig move, or just the seat?

The whole rig. The H2r is a Hero-class full-platform mover — seat and all your controls travel as one unit. Your hands stay on the wheel or stick and your feet stay on the pedals in the same relative position the entire time, which is what makes the motion read as real rather than disorienting.

Can I add yaw later instead of buying a bigger rig now?

Yes. The H2r is designed so you can start at two axes and grow. You can upgrade to the 3-axis H3 from $1,073 to add yaw down the road, or step up to the six-axis H6 when you want the most complete motion in the Hero line. Buy for how you sim today, expand when your needs change.

    Does it work in VR?

Yes. The H2r supports OpenVR Motion Compensation, which keeps your in-headset view stable while the platform moves underneath you — so you get the physical motion without the visual mismatch. It is compatible with Valve Index, Quest and Quest 2, Reverb G2, Vive, Pimax and more.
