The DOF Reality P3e is a 3-axis Pro motion platform built for people who don't want to choose a single sim. It moves your entire rig — seat, wheel, pedals, stick and throttle all together — through pitch, roll and yaw, so the forces you feel match what you see on screen. Drop into a hot lap and you feel the car rotate under braking and the weight shift through a corner. Jump into a fighter and the same platform banks and yaws with the airframe. Switch to a helicopter and it follows the cyclic with you. One rig, three worlds.

What separates the Pro line from the rest is how hard it hits. The P3e is roughly 50% faster than the Hero platforms and built from commercial-grade steel, with a 20° range of travel, 75 cm/s motion speed and meaningful transverse and longitudinal G under acceleration. That headroom is what turns subtle telemetry — tire slip, a stall buffet, ground effect on landing — into something you actually feel through your body, not just a vague wobble.

How it moves

This is a full-platform rig: the seat and all your controls move together, so your hands and feet stay locked to the cockpit exactly as they would in the real thing.

• Pitch — tilts you forward and back so you feel acceleration and braking.
• Roll — tilts side to side so you feel the lean of every corner.
• Yaw — rotates the platform to reproduce rear traction loss — oversteer, drift and coordinated turns.

Games, platforms & compatibility

The P3e is a universal platform that reads telemetry from across racing, flight and helicopter sims, so the same rig moves correctly no matter what you launch.

• Racing: iRacing, Assetto Corsa, F1, Gran Turismo, Forza and BeamNG.
• Flight: Microsoft Flight Simulator, DCS World and X-Plane.
• Helicopter: the major helo sims, with the platform tracking your inputs through pitch, roll and yaw.

Platforms: PC (Windows) is fully supported across every title. On console (PlayStation/Xbox), motion works for the select games that send telemetry over the network, and the MagicBox adapter bridges motion for many others. VR is supported through OpenVR Motion Compensation, so your headset stays locked to the cockpit while the platform moves — tested with Valve Index, Quest and Quest 2, Reverb G2, Vive, Pimax and more.

Shipping & delivery

Your rig is built to order and ships insured from our European manufacturing partner, door to door with tracking. The current lead time is in the Shipping and Returns tab. It arrives disassembled in two boxes (commercial-grade steel, so it is heavy by design = rigid and durable) and bolts together with the included tools; then you install SimRacingStudio and connect by USB. Any import duties, taxes, or customs charges set by your country are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in the product or shipping price — in line with the manufacturer’s policy. Does the P3e really handle racing, flight and helicopter sims on the same rig?

Yes. The P3e is a universal 3-axis platform that moves in pitch, roll and yaw — the axes that matter for all three disciplines. It reads telemetry from racing titles like iRacing and Assetto Corsa, flight sims like MSFS and DCS, and helicopter sims, so you can switch between them without changing hardware. One rig, three worlds.

How is the Pro P3e different from the Hero H3?

Both move the full platform through the same three axes. The Pro line is the step up in muscle: the P3e runs roughly 50% faster, is stronger, and is built from commercial-grade steel for heavier, more sustained use. If you want sharper, more aggressive motion and long-term durability, the P3e is the Pro answer to the Hero H3.

What's the difference between 3-axis and adding heave or going six-axis?

3-axis gives you pitch, roll and yaw — the rotational motion that conveys cornering, banking and rotation. Adding heave (the P4e upgrade, from $1,935) introduces vertical movement so you feel kerbs, turbulence and landings more directly. The six-axis P6e (from $4,990 to upgrade) adds the remaining axes for the fullest motion this family offers. You can start with the P3e and expand later.

Will it fit my space and my body?

The P3e has a 3 x 5 ft footprint and stands about 2 ft tall, and it supports users up to 440 lb / 200 kg. Plan for clearance around the platform since the whole rig moves as one. Refer to the spec table on this page for full dimensions before you set up your space.

Does it work in VR and on consoles?

VR is fully supported via OpenVR Motion Compensation with headsets like the Valve Index, Quest/Quest 2, Reverb G2, Vive and Pimax, so the view stays steady while the platform moves. On PC every supported title runs natively. On console, motion works for games that send telemetry over the network, and the MagicBox adapter bridges motion for many of the rest — see our DOF support page for current details.
