The Conspit ARES APEX direct drive wheelbase is an 8Nm sim racing wheel base designed for precise force feedback and stable performance. It delivers professional-grade steering feel in a compact, accessible form factor.

KEY BENEFITS

  • Delivers clean and detailed force feedback for better car control
  • Maintains smooth steering with reduced vibration and noise
  • Provides consistent performance during long racing sessions
  • Supports seamless wheel integration with stable signal transfer
  • Enables quick wheel changes with secure quick release system

WHO IT’S FOR

This wheelbase is built for sim racers who want direct drive performance without stepping into high torque complexity. Ideal for beginner to intermediate drivers upgrading from gear or belt systems, as well as experienced racers looking for a compact, reliable setup for circuit racing, drifting, or endurance driving.

KEY FEATURES

The Conspit ARES APEX direct drive wheelbase uses a skewed-pole motor design to reduce cogging torque, resulting in smoother and quieter steering. A 21-bit magnetic encoder captures high-resolution input for precise steering accuracy. Dual processors running at 170MHz and 168MHz ensure fast and stable signal processing. The integrated slip ring enables clean signal transmission and supports USB passthrough when paired with the optional adapter, eliminating cable drag and improving reliability. The system is tuned with input from professional drivers to prioritize realistic force feedback based on vehicle dynamics rather than exaggerated effects. The aluminum housing supports passive cooling to maintain stable performance under load, while Conspit Link 2.0 software allows quick adjustments and access to preset configurations.
