TR-One V3 Front-Mount Wheel Kit for Asetek Direct Drive Wheelbases

The TR ONE V3 2-Way Base Kit for Asetek Direct Drive is a full wheel mount for Asetek SimSports bases that mount from the front. It is part of Trak Racer's future-proof TR One line, made for sim racers who want a rigid, adjustable mount they can keep for years.

Why it matters

The TR ONE V3 is the newest wheel mount from Trak Racer, and the design is patent pending. It is built to get the most out of a direct drive wheel, to improve your seating position and to stay useful as your rig changes. Trak Racer developed it over years of refinement with direct input from the sim racing community, then tailored it to front-mounted Asetek wheelbases.

Trak Racer has focused on simulation since 2008. Its official partnerships include the Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team, Airbus Aircraft, the Alpine F1 Team, Hot Wheels and Porsche, and the company describes the TR ONE V3 as the next stage of its professional sim racing hardware.

Vertical or horizontal

The kit is based on a 120×40mm extruded aluminum mounting channel. You choose which way it sits:

• Vertical orientation: gives your legs and knees the most room. It suits formula-style seating and compact rigs.
• Horizontal orientation: creates extra mounting space for a dashboard, button box, keyboard, telemetry display or other add-on.

With both options, you can set up the cockpit for long endurance races, quick sprint races or any other motorsport sim you drive.

How it is built

The mount is made from aerospace-grade aluminum, so it is stiff and durable. Asetek's high-torque direct drive bases deliver accurate steering input and clean force feedback through it. That rigidity keeps the car realistic and controllable in iRacing, Assetto Corsa, rFactor, Assetto Corsa Competizione, F1 games and professional driver training applications.

Flex is kept to a minimum so steering detail reaches your hands. The kit is meant for serious sim racing, esports competition and motorsport simulation.

Compatible Asetek wheelbases

The kit is designed only for Asetek wheelbases that mount from the front. It holds them rigidly and transfers force feedback precisely, even under very high torque:

Compatible cockpits

The base kit fits every Trak Racer extrusion frame, and most extrusion rigs from other brands as well. Measure your rig against the dimensions on this page before you decide.

Its total wheel mount width is 580mm (22.83"). That lets it bolt onto Trak Racer aluminum profile cockpits and many other racing simulators, whether you are building from scratch or upgrading.
