Parts made for the DOF Reality line. Tick what you want and it ships on the same order. Hover a part to see what it does.

Seats

The part you sit in. It bolts to the seat rails on the frame, and on most rigs the position slides back and forth to suit your height.

  • A one-piece racing seat that bolts to the rig frame where the driver sits.

    $469.00In stock

  • A racing seat with side adjustment levers and openings for five- or six-point belts.

    $549.00In stock

  • A racing seat shaped for tighter cockpits that can bolt from underneath or at the sides.

    $596.00In stock

Monitors

Holds the screen at racing distance. A cockpit-mounted arm bolts to the rig so the screen and the seat move together. A freestanding stand sits on the floor by itself and carries heavier or triple-screen setups.

  • Holds a VESA monitor on the rig so the screen moves with you instead of staying still.

    $120.00In stock

Wheels and pedals

The controls themselves. The wheelbase bolts to the deck at the front of the rig, the pedals to the pedal plate down below.

  • A plate that lets you unclip the pedals from the rig without tools when you need the space.

    $100.00In stock

Motion and haptics

Physical feedback. Shakers bolt to the seat or the frame and vibrate with the road surface, the kerbs and the engine, so you feel the car as well as see it.

  • A bracket that holds a bass shaker on the rig so you feel rumble through the frame.

    $25.00In stock

  • A box that takes motion data from PlayStation or Xbox games so the platform moves with them.

    $199.00In stock

  • Fans set in front of the seat that blow harder as your speed rises in the game.

    $359.00In stock

  • Shakers that fix to the seat and vibrate in time with the game so you feel the surface.

    $429.00In stock

  • DOF Reality Motion Upgrade Kit (Add Axes to Your Existing Rig)

    $1,073.00In stockChoose options

Flight

Mounts for a flight stick, a throttle and rudder pedals, if you fly as well as drive.

  • Brackets that hold a Honeycomb Alpha yoke and Bravo throttle on a flight rig.

    $70.00In stock

  • Mounts a flight stick and throttle to the moving platform, at the center or off to one side.

    $120.00In stock

Extras

The things you notice later: casters so it rolls out of the way, a mat to protect the floor, covers, longer cables.

  • An emergency button wired for six-axis platforms that stops all motion the moment you hit it.

    $50.00In stock

  • A fabric cover you drape over the rig to keep dust off it between sessions.

    $50.00In stock

  • Gas struts that carry part of the six-axis frame's weight so it is easier to build and move.

    $70.00In stock

  • Longer motor and control cables so a six-axis rig can sit further from its control box.

    $70.00In stock

  • Larger casters for the heavier six-axis frame so the rig can be rolled rather than lifted.

    $240.00In stock

    About this product

Six axes of true flight — pitch, roll, yaw, heave, surge and sway move your entire cockpit as one. The P6e is the commercial-grade flagship: nothing in the DOF Reality line sits above it.

The DOF Reality P6e is a full six-axis Pro motion platform built for one purpose: putting your whole body inside the aircraft. Where most flight rigs hint at motion, the P6e reproduces it — pitch and roll for attitude, yaw for the turn and the rudder, and heave, surge and sway for the loads you feel in the seat of your pants. Your stick, throttle, rudder pedals and seat all move together as a single platform, so what your hands feel and what your eyes see finally agree.

In flight this is the difference between watching the horizon tilt and being tilted with it. A break to the stall pushes you forward in the harness. A carrier trap throws you against the belts. A thermal under the wing of a glider lifts you, and a hard bank pins you into the seat. Heave gives you the runway thump on touchdown and the float of light turbulence; surge and sway carry the catapult shot and the side-load of a slipping turn. Commercial-grade steel and a 1500W peak power budget mean the P6e drives those cues with authority and holds them under a 440 lb load without flinching.

At $9,999 the P6e is a serious investment, and it is meant to be the last platform you buy. It is the top of the Pro range — faster, stronger and more capable than every rig beneath it — and we only put our name behind hardware we would run ourselves. For a dedicated home cockpit or a flight-training setup, this is as close to the real envelope as consumer motion gets.

    How it moves

This is a full-platform rig: the seat and all your controls move together, so your hands and feet stay locked to the cockpit exactly as they would in the real thing.

    • Pitch — tilts you forward and back so you feel acceleration and braking.
    • Roll — tilts side to side so you feel the lean of every corner.
    • Yaw — rotates the platform to reproduce rear traction loss — oversteer, drift and coordinated turns.
    • Heave — drives the whole platform vertically for curbs, kerbs, bumps and (in the air) runway texture and turbulence.
    • Surge — slides you forward and back under hard acceleration and braking.
    • Sway — slides you left and right through fast direction changes.

    Who it’s for

The P6e is for the serious flight-sim pilot who wants the complete six-degree-of-freedom envelope — the builder turning a spare room into a permanent cockpit, the DCS or MSFS enthusiast chasing maximum fidelity, or a small flight-training operation that needs commercial-grade durability.

    • Step down: If four axes cover your flying and you want to save meaningfully, the P4e ($7,999) keeps the same Pro speed and commercial-grade build with pitch, roll, yaw and heave — the four cues most flight pilots rank first.
    • Step down further: The Hero H6 ($6,999) also delivers six axes on smooth SFU motors; it is the move if you want full 6DOF immersion but don't need the Pro line's extra speed, torque and steel.
    • This is the top: There is nothing above the P6e. It is the flagship of the entire DOF Reality range — full six-axis, commercial-grade, no upgrade path beyond it.

    Games, platforms & compatibility

The P6e is tuned for the demanding flight catalog — 27+ titles in all, including Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 & 2020, DCS World, X-Plane 10/11/12, IL-2 Sturmovik, Prepar3D 4.5/5, War Thunder (planes), Star Wars Squadrons, Elite Dangerous, Aerofly FS 2 and Condor 2 gliders.

    • PC (Windows): Fully supported across every title above — the platform reads each sim's telemetry and translates it into all six axes of motion.
    • Console (PlayStation/Xbox): Works with the select games that send telemetry over the network, and the MagicBox adapter bridges motion for others.
    • VR: Supported via OpenVR Motion Compensation, so the cockpit stays locked while you move — Valve Index, Quest/Quest 2, Reverb G2, Vive, Pimax and more. VR plus full 6DOF is the most convincing way to fly the P6e.

Because the P6e is a full-platform rig, it accepts the flight stick, throttle, collective and rudder-pedal mounts you'd expect on a dedicated cockpit. For exact controls, telemetry notes and the full title list, see our DOF support page.

    Complete your rig

    Shipping & delivery

Your rig is built to order and ships insured from our European manufacturing partner, door to door with tracking. The current lead time is in the Shipping and Returns tab. It arrives disassembled in two boxes (commercial-grade steel, so it is heavy by design = rigid and durable) and bolts together with the included tools; then you install SimRacingStudio and connect by USB. Any import duties, taxes, or customs charges set by your country are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in the product or shipping price — in line with the manufacturer’s policy. Full details on our Shipping & Delivery page.

    Warranty, support & financing

Every platform includes a full 1-year manufacturer warranty, with an optional Extended +1 Year. Frequently asked questions

Why choose the P6e over the four-axis P4e for flight?

The P4e gives you pitch, roll, yaw and heave — the cues most flight pilots feel first. The P6e adds surge and sway, the fore-aft and side-to-side loads behind a catapult shot, a hard slip, a carrier trap or the thump of a crosswind landing. If you want the complete six-degree-of-freedom envelope and the most faithful representation of real flight forces, the P6e is the rig.

Is six-axis motion overkill for flight simming?

For casual flying, no — a Hero or a four-axis Pro is plenty. But for builders and serious pilots, the extra two axes are exactly the cues that separate "the view moved" from "I felt the aircraft load up." Surge and sway carry acceleration and side-loads that pitch and roll alone can't reproduce. The P6e is built for pilots who want all of it.

Does the P6e work in VR for flight?

Yes. With OpenVR Motion Compensation the virtual cockpit stays fixed to the platform as it moves, so you get full six-axis motion without the world sliding around your headset. It's supported on Valve Index, Quest and Quest 2, Reverb G2, Vive, Pimax and more — and VR paired with the P6e's full 6DOF is the most immersive way to fly.

Can I mount my own flight controls and seat?

Yes. The P6e is a full-platform rig — the entire cockpit, including your stick, throttle, rudder pedals and seat, moves together as one unit, so your controls stay perfectly aligned with the motion. It supports up to a 440 lb / 200 kg load on a commercial-grade steel frame, with room for a serious dedicated flight setup.

Is the P6e the top of the DOF Reality range?

It is. The P6e is the flagship — full six-axis, Pro-grade speed and torque, commercial-grade steel construction. There is no platform above it in the DOF Reality line, which is why it's the rig we recommend when you want to build once and never feel the ceiling.
