About this product
The GTElite Lite Wheel Plate Edition from Next Level Racing® is an aluminum profile GT cockpit built around a wheel plate for bottom-mounted wheelbases. It fits racers on entry to mid-range wheels who want a solid frame now and the option to add motion later.
What sets it apart
The frame uses a “4080” profile, built for the mid-range category. The difference is a patent-pending layout with its own components, fixtures and reinforcements. Next Level Racing rates it as the most rigid mid-range cockpit, and in some cases stronger than conventional “16040” cockpits.
Detailing borrowed from the Elite series shows up throughout. Against other cockpits in its class, the brand says the GTElite Lite is stiffer, easier to put together, ships with more inclusions and has a better finish.
Made for bottom-mounted wheels
The wheel plate is designed for bases that bolt on from below. Good matches include Logitech, Thrustmaster, Fanatec CSL/CSL DD and SimXperience AccuForce. The frame also takes all major brands of wheels, pedals and shifters.
Your driving position
This is a dedicated GT cockpit with a natural, adaptable seating position. The pedal plate moves for height, angle and distance, and the flex-free seat slider system lets you place your seat precisely. Taller wheel mount uprights open up a wider range of positions, so drivers of many sizes can get comfortable.
Upgrade path
Straight from the box, the cockpit pairs with the Next Level Racing® Motion Plus Platform. The Motion Platform V3 and Traction Plus Platform need the Elite Motion Adaptor Upgrade Kit. Ready-set kits can also turn it into a multi-position cockpit. The Motion Kit and Formula kit are purchased separately.
