ERS3 Haptic

The Next Level Racing® ERS3 Haptic Feedback Sim Racing Seat puts haptic motors inside a reclining sim seat. It joins the ergonomics and comfort of the ERS3 Elite Seat with the haptic hardware from the HF8 Pro. It suits sim racers and flight sim pilots who want to feel the car or aircraft through the seat.

Next Level Racing developed it from global community feedback. The goal was a straightforward route to true integrated haptic feedback in a seat built to a professional grade.

Professional race car driver Alex Gardner says the realism stands out most in the gear shifts, rumble strips and loss of traction. Feeling them through the seat, he says, makes them much easier to judge.

HF8 Pro power, built into the frame

The seat uses the same haptic technology as the HF8 Pro. Compared with the original HF8 Haptic Feedback Pad, its motors produce 200% more torque, 400% more power and 60% faster motor speed.

Eight haptic motors sit inside the seat frame rather than in a separate pad laid on top. Because they are part of the structure, nothing shifts around and no vibration is lost along the way. You feel every corner, surface texture and impact in real time, evenly spread and direct. That covers everything from tire slip on track to turbulence in the air.

Comfort stays the same as the standard ERS3. SIMAERO Mesh fabric helps you stay cool when the pressure builds, and cold-molded, high-density foam holds your posture lap after lap, flight after flight. The seat is designed to fit larger body types and to stay comfortable through long endurance sessions.

Tune every zone

The seat works with Next Level Racing® HFS software and with SimHub. On PC you can adjust each of the eight feedback zones separately. Set how strong each motor is and what triggers it, such as engine RPM, road texture, braking or turbulence.

• Low latency: HFS software updates at 75 frames per second.
• Hands-on control: a built-in physical controller changes intensity on the fly, with LED indicators so you can see the level at a glance.
• Console play: a 3.5 mm audio input turns in-game sound into vibration, for racing, flight, music or VR.

Console note: on a console, the haptics come from audio-based vibration only. Individual motor control and telemetry-driven effects work ONLY on PC, through HFS Software or SimHub.

Fits your rig

A bottom-mount design lets the ERS3 Haptic install easily in most third-party cockpits. If you need more mounting positions, add the Next Level Racing® Universal Seat Brackets. The haptic system also pairs well with motion platforms and other tactile feedback gear, so the whole rig responds as one. It is a strong, comfortable all-round seat for racing, flying and VR, including for demanding users.

Next Level Racing confirms the seat works with these products:

• Third-party sim racing cockpits**

*For either F-GT version, fit the seat on the sliders that ship with the F-GT cockpit, and remove the cockpit's shifter plate.

**Before buying for a third-party cockpit, check that its measurements line up with the seat's mounting points.
