Parts made for the DOF Reality line. Tick what you want and it ships on the same order. Hover a part to see what it does.

Seats

The part you sit in. It bolts to the seat rails on the frame, and on most rigs the position slides back and forth to suit your height.

  • A one-piece racing seat that bolts to the rig frame where the driver sits.

    $469.00In stock

  • A racing seat with side adjustment levers and openings for five- or six-point belts.

    $549.00In stock

  • A racing seat shaped for tighter cockpits that can bolt from underneath or at the sides.

    $596.00In stock

Monitors

Holds the screen at racing distance. A cockpit-mounted arm bolts to the rig so the screen and the seat move together. A freestanding stand sits on the floor by itself and carries heavier or triple-screen setups.

  • Holds a VESA monitor on the rig so the screen moves with you instead of staying still.

    $120.00In stock

Wheels and pedals

The controls themselves. The wheelbase bolts to the deck at the front of the rig, the pedals to the pedal plate down below.

  • A plate that lets you unclip the pedals from the rig without tools when you need the space.

    $100.00In stock

Motion and haptics

Physical feedback. Shakers bolt to the seat or the frame and vibrate with the road surface, the kerbs and the engine, so you feel the car as well as see it.

  • A bracket that holds a bass shaker on the rig so you feel rumble through the frame.

    $31.00In stock

  • A box that takes motion data from PlayStation or Xbox games so the platform moves with them.

    $199.00In stock

  • Fans set in front of the seat that blow harder as your speed rises in the game.

    $359.00In stock

  • Shakers that fix to the seat and vibrate in time with the game so you feel the surface.

    $429.00In stock

  • DOF Reality Motion Upgrade Kit (Add Axes to Your Existing Rig)

Extras

The things you notice later: casters so it rolls out of the way, a mat to protect the floor, covers, longer cables.

  • Casters that bolt under the platform so you can roll the rig aside instead of lifting it.

    $49.00In stock

  • Longer motor and control cables so a three-axis rig can sit further from its control box.

    $49.00In stock

  • A button you hit to cut the platform's motion instantly if something goes wrong.

    $55.00In stock

  • A fabric cover you drape over the rig to keep dust off it between sessions.

    About this product

The H3 Hero moves your whole rig — seat, wheel and pedals as one — across three axes of pitch, roll and yaw, so braking dive, cornering lean and rear-end rotation hit your body the instant the car feels them on screen.

The DOF Reality H3 is the three-axis Hero platform built for drivers who want real seat-of-the-pants feedback without stepping up to a six-axis system. Because the entire cockpit moves — not just the seat — your hands, your pedals and your eyeline stay locked to the chassis, so the motion reads as one connected machine instead of a chair shoving you around.

On track, the three axes map to the cues that actually make you faster. Pitch throws weight forward under braking and squats the car on corner exit. Roll leans you into the apex so you feel the grip loading on the outside tires. Yaw is the one most rigs leave out — it lets the rear step out and rotate, so you catch oversteer with your inner ear before the rear view tells you it's gone. Smooth Hero motors keep that feedback clean and quiet, with 20° of travel and enough speed to snap with a tank-slapper.

At $2,999 the H3 sits right in the sweet spot: more than enough motion to transform iRacing or Assetto Corsa, commercial-grade steel under you, and a clear upgrade path the day you want more. We recommend it as the platform most serious sim racers should land on.

    How it moves

This is a full-platform rig: the seat and all your controls move together, so your hands and feet stay locked to the cockpit exactly as they would in the real thing.

    • Pitch — tilts you forward and back so you feel acceleration and braking.
    • Roll — tilts side to side so you feel the lean of every corner.
    • Yaw — rotates the platform to reproduce rear traction loss — oversteer, drift and coordinated turns.

    Who it’s for

The H3 is for the committed sim racer who has outgrown a static rig and wants pitch, roll and yaw — full-platform motion that moves the whole cockpit, not a seat-mover that leaves your wheel and pedals fixed.

    • Step down: If your budget is tighter or you mostly want braking and cornering load without yaw rotation, the two-axis H2 ($2,499) delivers pitch and roll on the same smooth Hero motors.
    • This one (H3, $2,999): The 3-axis Hero. Adds yaw so you can feel and catch the rear stepping out — the single biggest jump in car control feedback for the money.
    • Step up: Want road texture, kerbs and surface heave under you? The H4 ($3,999) adds a heave axis. Ready for the full six-axis experience with surge and sway too? The H6 ($6,999) is the complete Hero platform. Drivers who run hours daily or want roughly 50% faster, stronger commercial-grade motion should look at the Pro line (P3e and up).

    Games, platforms & compatibility

The H3 works across 60+ racing titles and every way you like to drive. On PC (Windows) every supported sim is fully covered — iRacing, Assetto Corsa, Competizione & EVO, Automobilista 1 & 2, Le Mans Ultimate, rFactor 2, Project CARS, RaceRoom, Dirt Rally 2.0, EA Sports WRC, BeamNG.drive, Wreckfest and more.

    • Console (PlayStation/Xbox): Titles like Gran Turismo 7 & Sport, F1 22–25 and Forza that send telemetry over the network drive the platform directly, and the MagicBox adapter bridges motion for many others.
    • VR: Fully supported through OpenVR Motion Compensation so the cockpit stays locked to your view — Valve Index, Quest & Quest 2, Reverb G2, Vive, Pimax and more.
    • Hardware: Because the full platform moves as one, your wheel base, pedals and shifter all bolt to the rig and travel together. The H3 carries riders up to 330 lb / 150 kg.

Not sure your setup, sim or controls are a fit? See our DOF support page for the full compatibility breakdown.

    Complete your rig

    • Immersion: SRS UShake 6 tactile cushion, SRS Hurricane wind package, Buttkicker mount

    Future-proof: upgrade later

    Shipping & delivery

Your rig is built to order and ships insured from our European manufacturing partner, door to door with tracking. The current lead time is in the Shipping and Returns tab. It arrives disassembled in two boxes (commercial-grade steel, so it is heavy by design = rigid and durable) and bolts together with the included tools; then you install SimRacingStudio and connect by USB. Any import duties, taxes, or customs charges set by your country are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in the product or shipping price — in line with the manufacturer’s policy. Full details on our Shipping & Delivery page.

    Warranty, support & financing

Every platform includes a full 1-year manufacturer warranty, with an optional Extended +1 Year. As an authorized DOF Reality dealer based in the USA, we back every order with free pre-sale consultation and hands-on setup help — and you can split the cost with Shop Pay, Affirm, or Klarna at checkout. Frequently asked questions

What does the third axis (yaw) actually add for racing?

Yaw lets the rig rotate horizontally, so when the rear of the car steps out you feel it twist beneath you. That early warning is the difference between catching a slide and spinning — it's the cue most two-axis rigs can't give you, and the main reason to choose the H3 over the H2.

Does the whole rig move, or just the seat?

The whole platform. Your seat, wheel, pedals and shifter all move together as one unit, so your controls never shift relative to your hands. That's what makes Hero motion feel like a real car instead of a seat being pushed around.

Will the H3 work with my triple monitors or VR headset?

Yes. With VR the H3 uses OpenVR Motion Compensation to keep your view locked to the moving cockpit. For triple screens, mount them on a static stand (not the moving platform) so the image stays stable while the rig moves under you.

Can I upgrade the H3 later?

Absolutely — that's a big reason to start here. You can add a heave axis to reach H4 capability (from $1,675) for road texture and kerb feel, or step up to the full six-axis H6 (from $3,750) whenever you're ready. You're never boxed in.

Is the H3 strong enough for hard, repeated use?

Yes. The H3 is built on commercial-grade steel with smooth Hero motors and supports drivers up to 330 lb / 150 kg. If you're running marathon sessions daily or want roughly 50% more speed and force, the Pro (P-series) line is the heavier-duty step up.
