Parts made for the DOF Reality line. Tick what you want and it ships on the same order. Hover a part to see what it does.

Seats

The part you sit in. It bolts to the seat rails on the frame, and on most rigs the position slides back and forth to suit your height.

  • A one-piece racing seat that bolts to the rig frame where the driver sits.

    $469.00In stock

  • A racing seat with side adjustment levers and openings for five- or six-point belts.

    $549.00In stock

  • A racing seat shaped for tighter cockpits that can bolt from underneath or at the sides.

    $596.00In stock

Monitors

Holds the screen at racing distance. A cockpit-mounted arm bolts to the rig so the screen and the seat move together. A freestanding stand sits on the floor by itself and carries heavier or triple-screen setups.

  • Holds a VESA monitor on the rig so the screen moves with you instead of staying still.

    $120.00In stock

Wheels and pedals

The controls themselves. The wheelbase bolts to the deck at the front of the rig, the pedals to the pedal plate down below.

  • A plate that lets you unclip the pedals from the rig without tools when you need the space.

    $100.00In stock

Motion and haptics

Physical feedback. Shakers bolt to the seat or the frame and vibrate with the road surface, the kerbs and the engine, so you feel the car as well as see it.

  • A bracket that holds a bass shaker on the rig so you feel rumble through the frame.

    $25.00In stock

  • A box that takes motion data from PlayStation or Xbox games so the platform moves with them.

    $199.00In stock

  • Fans set in front of the seat that blow harder as your speed rises in the game.

    $359.00In stock

  • Shakers that fix to the seat and vibrate in time with the game so you feel the surface.

    $429.00In stock

  • DOF Reality Motion Upgrade Kit (Add Axes to Your Existing Rig)

    $1,073.00In stockChoose options

Flight

Mounts for a flight stick, a throttle and rudder pedals, if you fly as well as drive.

  • Mounts a flight stick and throttle to the moving platform, at the center or off to one side.

    $120.00In stock

Extras

The things you notice later: casters so it rolls out of the way, a mat to protect the floor, covers, longer cables.

  • Casters that bolt under the platform so you can roll the rig aside instead of lifting it.

    $40.00In stock

  • Longer motor and control cables so a three-axis rig can sit further from its control box.

    $40.00In stock

  • A button you hit to cut the platform's motion instantly if something goes wrong.

    $50.00In stock

  • A fabric cover you drape over the rig to keep dust off it between sessions.

    $50.00In stock

  • Metal panels that enclose the moving frame of a two or three axis platform.

    About this product

Three axes of full-platform motion — pitch, roll and yaw — with the extra-smooth SFU gearbox that makes one rig feel right on a race track, in a cockpit and behind a collective.

The DOF Reality H3r is the 3-axis Hero platform built for people who don't run just one kind of sim. Your seat, wheel, pedals, stick and throttle all mount to a single steel platform that pitches, rolls and yaws as one piece — so when the chassis loads up under braking, banks into a turn, or the tail steps out, your whole body and every control move together. That's what sells the illusion, and it's what keeps the motion feeling honest instead of gimmicky.

The "r" in H3r is the part that matters for a Universal build. This variant ships with the smooth SFU gearbox tuned for the slow, deliberate movements that flight and helicopter sims live on — a gentle, sustained roll into a banked turn, the subtle pitch of a climb, the settle of a hover. That refinement doesn't cost you on the track, either: the same smoothness reads beautifully as weight transfer and curb detail when you switch back to iRacing or Assetto Corsa.

At $3,299, the H3r is the sweet spot for a do-everything cockpit: real, full-platform motion across all three disciplines, commercial-grade steel underneath it, and a clear path to grow whenever you want more.

    How it moves

This is a full-platform rig: the seat and all your controls move together, so your hands and feet stay locked to the cockpit exactly as they would in the real thing.

    • Pitch — tilts you forward and back so you feel acceleration and braking.
    • Roll — tilts side to side so you feel the lean of every corner.
    • Yaw — rotates the platform to reproduce rear traction loss — oversteer, drift and coordinated turns.

    Who it’s for

The H3r is for the sim enthusiast who refuses to choose one genre — someone who races during the week, files an MSFS flight on the weekend, and wants a single rig that nails all of it without compromise. The smooth SFU gearbox makes it especially appealing if flight and helicopter time is a serious part of your hours, not an afterthought.

    • Stepping down? If your time is mostly racing and you want full-platform motion for less, the standard H3 ($2,999) gives you the same pitch/roll/yaw without the SFU premium — or the two-axis H2 ($2,499) if you can live without yaw.
    • Stepping up? Add the H4 heave upgrade (from $1,675) for that vertical "drop" over crests and into terrain, or go all the way to the six-axis H6 (from $3,750) for the fullest motion envelope the Hero line offers.

    Games, platforms & compatibility

The H3r is built to switch between all three disciplines on one cockpit:

    • Racing: iRacing, Assetto Corsa, F1, Gran Turismo, Forza and BeamNG — pitch and roll read as braking, acceleration and cornering weight transfer; yaw adds rotation when the rear lets go.
    • Flight: MSFS, DCS and X-Plane — sustained roll into banked turns and gentle pitch on climbs and descents, exactly where the smooth SFU gearbox earns its keep.
    • Helicopter sims: the slow, precise platform movements the "r" variant was tuned for.

PC (Windows) is fully supported across every title above. Console (PlayStation/Xbox) works for the select games that send telemetry over the network, and the MagicBox adapter bridges motion for others. VR is supported via OpenVR Motion Compensation, so your view stays locked to the cockpit on the Valve Index, Quest / Quest 2, Reverb G2, Vive, Pimax and more. For the full breakdown of supported titles and setups, see our DOF support page.

    Complete your rig

    • Controls: MOZA direct-drive wheel/pedal bundles for racing, or the HOTAS Mounts Kit & Honeycomb adapter for flight & heli
    • Seats & harnesses — DOF Reality seat, Sparco R100/R333/Sprint, 4-point harness
    • Immersion: SRS UShake 6 tactile cushion, SRS Hurricane wind package, Buttkicker mount
    • Practicality: monitor mount, floor mat with DOF shield, protective covers, transport wheels, cable extensions
    • Console: the MagicBox adapter bridges motion for PlayStation and Xbox titles that don’t send telemetry natively

    Shipping & delivery

Your rig is built to order and ships insured from our European manufacturing partner, door to door with tracking. The current lead time is in the Shipping and Returns tab. It arrives disassembled in two boxes (commercial-grade steel, so it is heavy by design = rigid and durable) and bolts together with the included tools; then you install SimRacingStudio and connect by USB. Any import duties, taxes, or customs charges set by your country are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in the product or shipping price — in line with the manufacturer’s policy. Full details on our Shipping & Delivery page.

    Warranty, support & financing

Every platform includes a full 1-year manufacturer warranty, with an optional Extended +1 Year. As an authorized DOF Reality dealer based in the USA, we back every order with free pre-sale consultation and hands-on setup help — and you can split the cost with Shop Pay, Affirm, or Klarna at checkout. Frequently asked questions

What does the "r" in H3r actually change?

The H3r uses an extra-smooth SFU gearbox tuned for slow, precise movements. That refinement is built for flight and helicopter sims — sustained banks, gentle pitch, a settled hover — and it carries straight over to racing as clean, detailed weight transfer. If your hours are mostly racing, the standard H3 saves you the SFU premium.

Is the H3r really good for both racing and flight, or is it a compromise?

It's a genuine do-everything rig. As a full-platform 3-axis design, your seat and all your controls move as one across pitch, roll and yaw — the motion that matters for racing weight transfer and for flight attitude alike. The SFU gearbox means you don't trade away the smoothness flight sims need to get the responsiveness racing wants.

What's the difference between the H3r and a "Mover" like the M2?

A Mover moves only the seat. The H3r is a full platform: your wheel, pedals, stick and throttle all travel with you, so the forces stay aligned with your hands and feet. That whole-body coherence is the single biggest jump in immersion you can make.

Can I add heave or more axes later?

Yes. You can add the H4 heave upgrade (from $1,675) for vertical motion over crests and rough terrain, or move up to the six-axis H6 (from $3,750) when you want the fullest motion envelope. The H3r is a real platform to grow from, not a dead end.

Will it handle my setup and space?

The H3r is rated for a max user of 330 lb / 150 kg on commercial-grade steel, with a 3 x 5 ft footprint and about 2 ft of height. It's a serious, stable foundation for a full racing-and-flight cockpit.
