Parts made for the DOF Reality line. Tick what you want and it ships on the same order. Hover a part to see what it does.

Seats

The part you sit in. It bolts to the seat rails on the frame, and on most rigs the position slides back and forth to suit your height.

  • A one-piece racing seat that bolts to the rig frame where the driver sits.

    $469.00In stock

  • A racing seat with side adjustment levers and openings for five- or six-point belts.

    $549.00In stock

  • A racing seat shaped for tighter cockpits that can bolt from underneath or at the sides.

    $596.00In stock

Monitors

Holds the screen at racing distance. A cockpit-mounted arm bolts to the rig so the screen and the seat move together. A freestanding stand sits on the floor by itself and carries heavier or triple-screen setups.

  • Holds a VESA monitor on the rig so the screen moves with you instead of staying still.

    $120.00In stock

Wheels and pedals

The controls themselves. The wheelbase bolts to the deck at the front of the rig, the pedals to the pedal plate down below.

  • A plate that lets you unclip the pedals from the rig without tools when you need the space.

    $100.00In stock

Motion and haptics

Physical feedback. Shakers bolt to the seat or the frame and vibrate with the road surface, the kerbs and the engine, so you feel the car as well as see it.

  • A bracket that holds a bass shaker on the rig so you feel rumble through the frame.

    $25.00In stock

  • A box that takes motion data from PlayStation or Xbox games so the platform moves with them.

    $199.00In stock

  • Fans set in front of the seat that blow harder as your speed rises in the game.

    $359.00In stock

  • Shakers that fix to the seat and vibrate in time with the game so you feel the surface.

    $429.00In stock

  • DOF Reality Motion Upgrade Kit (Add Axes to Your Existing Rig)

    $1,073.00In stockChoose options

Flight

Mounts for a flight stick, a throttle and rudder pedals, if you fly as well as drive.

  • Mounts a flight stick and throttle to the moving platform, at the center or off to one side.

    $120.00In stock

Extras

The things you notice later: casters so it rolls out of the way, a mat to protect the floor, covers, longer cables.

  • Longer motor and control cables so a two-axis rig can sit further from its control box.

    $30.00In stock

  • Casters that bolt under the platform so you can roll the rig aside instead of lifting it.

    $40.00In stock

  • A button you hit to cut the platform's motion instantly if something goes wrong.

    $50.00In stock

  • A fabric cover you drape over the rig to keep dust off it between sessions.

    $50.00In stock

  • Metal panels that enclose the moving frame of a two or three axis platform.

    About this product

Two axes of true platform motion — pitch and roll — on DOF Reality's Pro chassis, where your whole rig moves as one. Roughly 50% faster than the Hero line, with the commercial-grade steel to fly Apaches and Hueys for hours, not minutes.

The DOF Reality P2e is a 2-axis Pro motion platform built for serious helicopter pilots. It moves in pitch and roll — the two axes that carry the most information when you're hovering a Black Shark or pulling into a Gazelle turn. And because it's a full-platform design, your seat, collective, cyclic and pedals all move together as one unit, so the controls stay exactly where your hands left them no matter how the airframe tilts.

Helicopters live in the low-speed, high-attitude regime where a motion seat falls short and a full platform shines. As you ease into a hover, the P2e holds and translates the subtle attitude changes that tell you the aircraft is drifting before the instruments do. Roll the cyclic and the whole rig banks with you; nose over into a dive and the pitch axis loads up under you. On the Pro chassis those cues arrive fast — this line runs roughly 50% quicker than the Hero platforms — so the motion tracks your inputs tightly instead of lagging behind them.

At $4,999 the P2e is the entry point to DOF Reality's commercial-grade Pro line: the strongest, fastest tier they build, rated for users up to 440 lb and tough enough to run all day. If you fly rotary-wing seriously and want platform motion you won't outgrow next season, this is where the Pro ladder starts.

    How it moves

This is a full-platform rig: the seat and all your controls move together, so your hands and feet stay locked to the cockpit exactly as they would in the real thing.

    • Pitch — tilts you forward and back so you feel acceleration and braking.
    • Roll — tilts side to side so you feel the lean of every corner.

    Who it’s for

The P2e is built for the dedicated helicopter pilot who wants real platform motion in the two axes that matter most for rotary-wing flight — pitch and roll — on a chassis strong and fast enough to take serious daily use.

    • Step down: If you want the same full-platform feel for less, the Hero H2 at $2,499 gives you 2-axis platform motion on smooth motors at a gentler price — just without the Pro line's commercial-grade steel and roughly 50% greater speed.
    • Step up: If you know yaw matters to your hover work, the P3e (from $5,999) adds a third axis for pedal and tail-rotor cues, and the Pro line climbs all the way to the six-axis P6e at $9,999 for the full attitude envelope.

Already own the P2e? You're not boxed in — add yaw later with the P3e upgrade from $1,650 and keep building on the same platform.

    Games, platforms & compatibility

The P2e reads flight telemetry from the leading helicopter titles and translates it into pitch-and-roll motion:

    • DCS World — the full rotary-wing lineup, including the Apache, Black Shark, Huey and Gazelle
    • Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 & 2020
    • X-Plane 10/11/12 helicopters

PC (Windows) is fully supported across every title above — the ideal home for a P2e build. On console (PlayStation/Xbox), the rig works with the select games that send telemetry over the network, and the MagicBox adapter bridges motion for titles that don't. VR is fully supported through OpenVR Motion Compensation, so the headset view stays locked to the cockpit while the platform moves — works with the Valve Index, Quest/Quest 2, Reverb G2, Vive, Pimax and more.

The P2e's full-platform design means your cyclic, collective and pedals mount to the moving frame and travel with you, keeping your hands and feet aligned with the controls throughout the motion. For a deeper breakdown of how the axes map to flight, see our DOF support page.

    Complete your rig

    • Flight controls: HOTAS Mounts Kit and Honeycomb A+B adapter to bolt your stick, throttle and yoke straight to the moving cockpit

    Future-proof: upgrade later

Add yaw (P3e from $1,650) or keep climbing — the Pro line upgrades all the way to the six-axis P6e. Every DOF Reality platform is modular — see how the upgrade paths work on our Options & Upgrades page.

    Shipping & delivery

Your rig is built to order and ships insured from our European manufacturing partner, door to door with tracking. The current lead time is in the Shipping and Returns tab. It arrives disassembled in two boxes (commercial-grade steel, so it is heavy by design = rigid and durable) and bolts together with the included tools; then you install SimRacingStudio and connect by USB. Any import duties, taxes, or customs charges set by your country are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in the product or shipping price — in line with the manufacturer’s policy. Full details on our Shipping & Delivery page.

    Warranty, support & financing

Every platform includes a full 1-year manufacturer warranty, with an optional Extended +1 Year. As an authorized DOF Reality dealer based in the USA, we back every order with free pre-sale consultation and hands-on setup help — and you can split the cost with Shop Pay, Affirm, or Klarna at checkout. Frequently asked questions

Is 2-axis enough for flying helicopters?

For most rotary-wing flying, yes. Pitch and roll carry the bulk of the attitude information you act on in a hover, a banked turn or a dive, and the P2e delivers both on a fast, full-platform chassis. If you specifically want tail-rotor and pedal cues, you can step up to the 3-axis P3e for yaw — or add it later, since the P2e upgrades to yaw from $1,650.

What makes the P2e "Pro" versus the Hero line?

The Pro chassis is the strongest and fastest tier DOF Reality builds. It runs roughly 50% faster than the Hero platforms and uses commercial-grade steel rated for users up to 440 lb / 200 kg, so it holds up to long helicopter sessions and aggressive maneuvering that a lighter rig would struggle with.

Do my flight controls move with the platform?

Yes. The P2e is a full-platform design — your seat, cyclic, collective and pedals all mount to the moving frame and travel together. Your hands and feet stay aligned with the controls no matter how the platform pitches or rolls, which is exactly what you want when you're making fine hover corrections.

Can I use the P2e in VR?

Absolutely. The P2e supports OpenVR Motion Compensation, which keeps your in-headset view locked to the virtual cockpit while the platform moves underneath you — no nausea-inducing drift. It works with the Valve Index, Quest/Quest 2, Reverb G2, Vive, Pimax and more.

How much space do I need for the P2e?

The platform has a 2 x 5 ft footprint and stands 2 ft tall (100 x 150 cm), so plan for a dedicated spot with clearance around it for the full range of motion. The exact dimensions and weight ratings are listed in the spec table on this page.
