The DOF Reality P4e is a 4-axis Pro motion platform that moves your entire cockpit — seat, wheel, pedals and shifter — as one rigid mass. Pitch carries braking and acceleration, roll loads you up under cornering, yaw plants the rear stepping out, and the standout fourth axis, heave, delivers the vertical hit of kerbs, crests and compressions that flat 3-axis rigs simply can't reproduce.

What makes the "Pro" badge earn its keep is the hardware underneath: commercial-grade steel and roughly 50% more speed and strength than the smooth-motor Hero line. At 105°/s and 0.75G transverse acceleration, the P4e snaps to telemetry fast enough that a snap of oversteer in a GT3 car or the curb strike at Eau Rouge registers in your body before your eyes finish processing it.

At $7,999 it's the four-axis flagship of the Pro family — the rig you buy when you've decided motion is part of how you drive, not a novelty you'll grow out of. We only recommend platforms we'd run ourselves, and the P4e is one of them.

How it moves

This is a full-platform rig: the seat and all your controls move together, so your hands and feet stay locked to the cockpit exactly as they would in the real thing.

• Pitch — tilts you forward and back so you feel acceleration and braking.
• Roll — tilts side to side so you feel the lean of every corner.
• Yaw — rotates the platform to reproduce rear traction loss — oversteer, drift and coordinated turns.
• Heave — drives the whole platform vertically for curbs, kerbs, bumps and (in the air) runway texture and turbulence.

The P4e is a full-platform rig, so it drives the same cockpit you already race in — bolt on your wheel base, pedals and shifter and the whole assembly moves together.

Shipping & delivery

Your rig is built to order and ships insured from our European manufacturing partner, door to door with tracking. The current lead time is in the Shipping and Returns tab. It arrives disassembled in two boxes (commercial-grade steel, so it is heavy by design = rigid and durable) and bolts together with the included tools; then you install SimRacingStudio and connect by USB. Any import duties, taxes, or customs charges set by your country are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in the product or shipping price — in line with the manufacturer’s policy. Frequently asked questions

What does the heave axis actually add for racing?

Heave is straight-up-and-down motion. On the P4e it's the axis that gives you kerbs, crests, compressions and road surface texture as a vertical hit through the whole platform — cues a 3-axis rig (pitch, roll, yaw only) can only fake by tilting. It's the single biggest jump in realism over the P3e, and the reason this is the four-axis model.

How is the P4e different from a Hero platform like the H4?

Both move the full cockpit, but the P4e is built on the Pro hardware: commercial-grade steel and roughly 50% faster and stronger than the smooth-motor Hero line. That extra speed (105°/s) and 0.75G transverse acceleration means sharper, more aggressive transients — the snap of a tank-slapper or a curb strike lands harder and recovers quicker.

Can I run the P4e with my existing wheel, pedals and VR headset?

Yes. The P4e is platform-agnostic about your gear — mount your own wheel base, pedals and shifter onto the rig. It supports PC fully, console for telemetry-enabled titles (with MagicBox bridging the rest), and VR through OpenVR Motion Compensation on all major headsets.

What if I decide I want six axes later?

You're covered. The P4e upgrades to the flagship six-axis P6e from $4,250, which adds surge and sway on top of your existing pitch, roll, yaw and heave — so you can grow into the full motion picture without replacing the rig.

Will it hold up to serious use?

That's the point of the Pro line. Commercial-grade steel construction, a 440 lb / 200 kg max user rating and a 750W peak power system mean the P4e is built for daily league racing and long endurance stints, not just occasional sessions.
