Seats
The part you sit in. It bolts to the seat rails on the frame, and on most rigs the position slides back and forth to suit your height.

Monitors

About this product
Four axes of full-platform motion (pitch, roll, yaw and true heave) on a commercial-grade Pro chassis built to throw your whole rig, not just the seat. This is the kerb-crashing, curb-snapping detail that separates a sim from a stint.
The DOF Reality P4e is a 4-axis Pro motion platform that moves your entire cockpit (seat, wheel, pedals and shifter) as one rigid mass. Pitch carries braking and acceleration, roll loads you up under cornering, yaw plants the rear stepping out, and the standout fourth axis, heave, delivers the vertical hit of kerbs, crests and compressions that flat 3-axis rigs simply can't reproduce.
What makes the "Pro" badge earn its keep is the hardware underneath: commercial-grade steel, roughly 50% more speed than the smooth-motor Hero line (75 vs 50 cm/s) and slightly more torque (28 vs 25 n/m). At 105°/s and 0.75G transverse acceleration, the P4e snaps to telemetry fast enough that a snap of oversteer in a GT3 car or the curb strike at Eau Rouge registers in your body before your eyes finish processing it.
It's the four-axis flagship of the Pro family: the rig you buy when you've decided motion is part of how you drive, not a novelty you'll grow out of. We only recommend platforms we'd run ourselves, and the P4e is one of them.

How it moves
This is a full-platform rig: the seat and all your controls move together, so your hands and feet stay locked to the cockpit exactly as they would in the real thing.
- Pitch: tilts you forward and back so you feel acceleration and braking.
- Roll: tilts side to side so you feel the lean of every corner.
- Yaw: rotates the platform to reproduce rear traction loss (oversteer, drift and coordinated turns).
- Heave: drives the whole platform vertically for curbs, kerbs, bumps and (in the air) runway texture and turbulence.
Who it’s for
Best for the committed sim racer who wants real vertical road feel and the durability to drive it hard for years: league racers, endurance stinters, and anyone chasing the closest-to-real-car seat-of-the-pants cues.
- Step down: If you want full-platform Pro motion but heave isn't a must-have, the 3-axis P3e gives you the same commercial-grade speed and strength in pitch, roll and yaw for less.
- Step up: If you want the complete motion picture (adding surge and sway to everything the P4e does), the flagship six-axis P6e is the ceiling, and you can upgrade to it later with an upgrade kit.

The P4e is a full-platform rig, so it drives the same cockpit you already race in: bolt on your wheel base, pedals and shifter and the whole assembly moves together.

- Platforms: PC (Windows) is fully supported across every title. Console (PlayStation/Xbox) works for the select games that send telemetry over the network, and the MagicBox adapter runs that motion without a Windows PC in between.
- VR: Supported via OpenVR Motion Compensation with Valve Index, Quest / Quest 2, Reverb G2, Vive, Pimax and more, so the motion stays locked to your view instead of fighting it.

Your rig is built to order and ships insured from our European manufacturing partner, door to door with tracking. Freight to the United States and Canada is included in the price. The current lead time is in the Shipping and Returns tab. It arrives disassembled in two boxes (commercial-grade steel, so it is heavy by design = rigid and durable) and bolts together with the included tools; then you install SimRacingStudio and connect by USB. Depending on your country, the carrier may bill import fees (duties, taxes or brokerage) at delivery. These are not included in the price and are never charged at checkout. Frequently asked questions
What does the heave axis actually add for racing?
Heave is straight-up-and-down motion. On the P4e it's the axis that gives you kerbs, crests, compressions and road surface texture as a vertical hit through the whole platform. A 3-axis rig (pitch, roll, yaw only) can only fake those cues by tilting. It's the single biggest jump in realism over the P3e, and the reason this is the four-axis model.
How is the P4e different from a Hero platform like the H4?
Both move the full cockpit, but the P4e is built on the Pro hardware: commercial-grade steel, roughly 50% faster than the smooth-motor Hero line (75 vs 50 cm/s), with slightly more torque (28 vs 25 n/m). That extra speed (105°/s) and 0.75G transverse acceleration means sharper, more aggressive transients: the snap of a tank-slapper or a curb strike lands harder and recovers quicker.
Can I run the P4e with my existing wheel, pedals and VR headset?
Yes. The P4e is platform-agnostic about your gear: mount your own wheel base, pedals and shifter onto the rig. It supports PC fully, console for telemetry-enabled titles (the MagicBox removes the need for a Windows PC in between), and VR through OpenVR Motion Compensation on all major headsets.
What if I decide I want six axes later?
You're covered. The P4e upgrades to the flagship six-axis P6e with an upgrade kit, which adds surge and sway on top of your existing pitch, roll, yaw and heave, so you can grow into the full motion picture without replacing the rig.
Will it hold up to serious use?
That's the point of the Pro line. Commercial-grade steel construction, a 440 lb / 200 kg max user rating and a 1000W peak power system mean the P4e is built for daily league racing and long endurance stints, not just occasional sessions.

This platform is built to order and ships insured from our European manufacturing partner. Freight to the United States and Canada is included in the price. For other countries, the delivered freight rate for your destination is shown at checkout.
Import duties and taxes
This order crosses a border to reach you. Depending on your country, the carrier may bill import processing fees separately at delivery. They are never charged at checkout and there are no hidden charges from us. Contact us for a landed-cost estimate for your address before you order.
Returns and warranty
DOF Reality products are built to order and are not eligible for change-of-mind returns once your order is placed with the factory. You are covered instead by the full 1 year manufacturer warranty, with an optional additional year available, and Sim Drive Performance is your first point of contact.
