The DOF Reality P4e is a 4-axis Pro motion platform built for pilots who want to feel the airframe, not just watch it. Pitch, roll, yaw and heave drive the whole rig — seat, stick, throttle and rudder pedals travel together — so the cues hitting your hands and your inner ear always agree with what the instruments are telling you. That coherence is the difference between a sim that looks convincing and one your body actually trusts.

How it moves

This is a full-platform rig: the seat and all your controls move together, so your hands and feet stay locked to the cockpit exactly as they would in the real thing.

• Pitch — tilts you forward and back so you feel acceleration and braking.
• Roll — tilts side to side so you feel the lean of every corner.
• Yaw — rotates the platform to reproduce rear traction loss — oversteer, drift and coordinated turns.
• Heave — drives the whole platform vertically for curbs, kerbs, bumps and (in the air) runway texture and turbulence.

Shipping & delivery

Your rig is built to order and ships insured from our European manufacturing partner, door to door with tracking. The current lead time is in the Shipping and Returns tab. It arrives disassembled in two boxes (commercial-grade steel, so it is heavy by design = rigid and durable) and bolts together with the included tools; then you install SimRacingStudio and connect by USB. Any import duties, taxes, or customs charges set by your country are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in the product or shipping price — in line with the manufacturer’s policy. Frequently asked questions

What does heave add for flight simulation?

Heave is true vertical motion — the platform lifts and drops the whole cockpit. In flight that's the cue your body reads as climb and sink: the drop when you hit a downdraft or thermal, the settle of a flare on landing, the kick of wake turbulence or rough air. Pitch, roll and yaw tell you how the aircraft is oriented; heave tells you it's moving through the air, and together they make hand-flying feel real.

How is the P4e different from the Hero H4?

Both are full-platform 4-axis rigs with pitch, roll, yaw and heave. The H4 uses smooth SFU-gearbox motors tuned for refined, cruise-style motion. The P4e is the Pro version — commercial-grade steel, stronger motors, 750W peak power and roughly 50% faster response — so it delivers sharper, more aggressive cues for aerobatics, combat and demanding daily use.

Will my HOTAS, yoke and rudder pedals work on it?

Yes. The P4e is a full-platform design, meaning your seat and all your controls move together as one unit. You mount your stick or yoke, throttle or collective, and rudder pedals to the rig, and they travel with you — so your hands and the cockpit always move in sync.

Can I use the P4e in VR?

Yes. With OpenVR Motion Compensation the headset's tracking is corrected for the platform's movement, so the virtual cockpit stays locked in place while the rig moves under you. It's supported on Valve Index, Quest and Quest 2, Reverb G2, Vive, Pimax and more.

Can I upgrade to six axes later?

Yes. If you later want surge and sway on top of these four axes, you can upgrade to the flagship six-axis P6e from $4,250. It's a sensible path if you start with the P4e and your flying grows more demanding over time.
