Seats
The part you sit in. It bolts to the seat rails on the frame, and on most rigs the position slides back and forth to suit your height.
- A one-piece racing seat that bolts to the rig frame where the driver sits.
$469.00In stock
- A racing seat with side adjustment levers and openings for five- or six-point belts.
$549.00In stock
- A racing seat shaped for tighter cockpits that can bolt from underneath or at the sides.
$596.00In stock
Monitors
Holds the screen at racing distance. A cockpit-mounted arm bolts to the rig so the screen and the seat move together. A freestanding stand sits on the floor by itself and carries heavier or triple-screen setups.
- Holds a VESA monitor on the rig so the screen moves with you instead of staying still.
$120.00In stock
Wheels and pedals
The controls themselves. The wheelbase bolts to the deck at the front of the rig, the pedals to the pedal plate down below.
- A plate that lets you unclip the pedals from the rig without tools when you need the space.
$100.00In stock
Motion and haptics
Physical feedback. Shakers bolt to the seat or the frame and vibrate with the road surface, the kerbs and the engine, so you feel the car as well as see it.
- A bracket that holds a bass shaker on the rig so you feel rumble through the frame.
$25.00In stock
- A box that takes motion data from PlayStation or Xbox games so the platform moves with them.
$199.00In stock
- Fans set in front of the seat that blow harder as your speed rises in the game.
$359.00In stock
- Shakers that fix to the seat and vibrate in time with the game so you feel the surface.

About this product
Four axes — pitch, roll, yaw and heave — on a commercial-grade Pro platform that moves your whole rig as one. One machine that drops you into the apex, banks you through a roll, and drops you into ground effect across racing, flight and helicopter sims.
The DOF Reality P4e is a 4-axis Pro motion platform built for people who don’t want to choose. Pitch, roll, yaw and heave move your entire cockpit — seat, wheel, pedals, stick and throttle — as a single rigid unit, so what you feel through your hands and through the seat are telling you the same story. Add the vertical heave axis and the platform doesn’t just tilt: it shoves you down over curbs and into compressions, and lifts you as a helicopter lightens on the skids.
Because it’s a Pro-tier machine, the P4e is roughly 50% faster and stronger than our Hero line and built on commercial-grade steel — the kind of hardware that can run hard, all day, and not flinch. That speed and rigidity are exactly what make the difference at the limit, where you’re reacting to a snap of oversteer or a sudden stall buffet in the span of a few hundred milliseconds.
One rig, three disciplines. Spend the morning chasing lap records, the afternoon shooting an ILS approach, and the evening hovering a helicopter over a confined area — all on the same platform, with no compromise baked in to make it “work for everything.”

How it moves
This is a full-platform rig: the seat and all your controls move together, so your hands and feet stay locked to the cockpit exactly as they would in the real thing.
- Pitch — tilts you forward and back so you feel acceleration and braking.
- Roll — tilts side to side so you feel the lean of every corner.
- Yaw — rotates the platform to reproduce rear traction loss — oversteer, drift and coordinated turns.
- Heave — drives the whole platform vertically for curbs, kerbs, bumps and (in the air) runway texture and turbulence.
Who it’s for
The P4e is for the serious multi-discipline simmer who wants Pro-grade speed and a true universal rig — someone who races, flies fixed-wing, and flies rotary, and refuses to settle for motion that’s only convincing in one of them. The heave axis is the reason to choose this over a 3-axis platform: it’s the vertical hit that sells kerbs, road texture, turbulence and helicopter lift.
- Step down: If you mostly want pitch, roll and yaw and can live without the dedicated vertical axis, the P3e ($5,999) delivers the same Pro speed in 3 axes. Want full-platform motion at a gentler price? The Hero-line H4 ($3,999) covers the same four axes with smoother, slower motors.
- Step up: If you want the most immersive platform we sell, the flagship six-axis P6e ($9,999) adds surge and sway on top of these four — and P4e owners can upgrade to it from $4,250.
Games, platforms & compatibility
As a Universal rig, the P4e is designed to switch cleanly between all three disciplines:
- Racing: iRacing, Assetto Corsa, F1, Gran Turismo, Forza and BeamNG.
- Flight: Microsoft Flight Simulator, DCS World and X-Plane.
- Helicopter: the major rotary-wing sims, where heave does its best work selling lift and collective.
PC (Windows) is fully supported across every title above — it’s the most flexible way to run the platform. Console (PlayStation/Xbox) works for the select games that send telemetry over the network, and the MagicBox adapter bridges motion for many of the rest. VR is supported via OpenVR Motion Compensation, so the virtual world stays locked while the platform moves beneath you — compatible with Valve Index, Quest and Quest 2, Reverb G2, Vive, Pimax and more.
With a 440 lb / 200 kg user capacity and a full-platform design, the P4e comfortably carries a complete cockpit — direct-drive wheel and load-cell pedals for racing, plus a HOTAS or cyclic/collective setup for flight — all mounted to move together. For a title-by-title breakdown of supported games and telemetry, see our DOF support page.

Shipping & delivery
Your rig is built to order and ships insured from our European manufacturing partner, door to door with tracking. The current lead time is in the Shipping and Returns tab. It arrives disassembled in two boxes (commercial-grade steel, so it is heavy by design = rigid and durable) and bolts together with the included tools; then you install SimRacingStudio and connect by USB. Any import duties, taxes, or customs charges set by your country are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in the product or shipping price — in line with the manufacturer’s policy. Full details on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Warranty, support & financing
Every platform includes a full 1-year manufacturer warranty, with an optional Extended +1 Year. As an authorized DOF Reality dealer based in the USA, we back every order with free pre-sale consultation and hands-on setup help — and you can split the cost with Shop Pay, Affirm, or Klarna at checkout. Frequently asked questions
What does the heave axis add over a 3-axis P3e?
Heave is dedicated vertical movement — the platform physically drops and lifts. In racing, that’s the slam of a kerb or the compression at the bottom of a dip; in flight, it’s turbulence and the floating sensation in ground effect; in helicopters, it’s the lift and settle you feel through the collective. It’s a cue pitch, roll and yaw simply can’t reproduce, which is why the P4e feels more grounded than a 3-axis rig.
Can the P4e really handle racing, flight and helicopter sims on one machine?
Yes — that’s the point of the Universal configuration. Because the whole platform moves as one unit, the same four axes translate naturally between a car’s body, an aircraft’s attitude and a helicopter’s motion. You switch the sim and the controls; the platform just works.
How is the Pro P4e different from the Hero H4?
Both move the full platform across the same four axes. The Pro P4e runs roughly 50% faster, hits harder, and is built on commercial-grade steel for higher acceleration and the durability to run continuously. The Hero H4 is the more affordable path to four-axis motion with smoother, gentler motors — the P4e is the choice when you’re chasing the sharpest, most aggressive cues at the limit.
Does it work in VR?
Yes. The P4e supports OpenVR Motion Compensation, which keeps the virtual world stable while the platform moves under you — essential for comfortable, immersive VR. It works with headsets including the Valve Index, Quest and Quest 2, Reverb G2, Vive and Pimax.
Can I upgrade later if I want more axes?
You can. P4e owners can step up to our flagship six-axis P6e from $4,250, adding surge and sway on top of the four axes you already have — so the P4e is a platform you can grow into rather than out of.
